Built in the Dravidian tradition

In 1996 we embarked upon building a traditional Dravidian (South Indian) style temple under the guidance of chief architect Dr. Ganapati Sthapati of Chennai, India. Construction began in April 1999. Twelve shilpis from Mahabalipuram arrived in April 2000 to begin Indianization of the temple.

The temple complex includes the traditional temple building with Raja Gopuram and related structures, created with craftsmanship brought from Mahabalipuram. What began as a vision in 1996 continues as a living place of worship for families across the region.
